Department Annual Inspection

On Sunday, October 17, 2021, the Elmsford Fire Department held it’s annual inspection at the quarters of Live Oak Engine Company. 

The following dignitaries were in attendance:

Elmsford Mayor Robert Williams, Deputy Mayor Syd Henry and Trustee Joe Coffey
New York State Senator Andrea Stewart Cousins and New York Assemblyman Tom Abinanti.
Elmsford Police Chief Tom Proscia.
We thanked Senator Cousins for providing funding for our Police Department Bodycam Program.
Assemblyman Abinanti for funding for Ambulance 58B2.

The following personnel presented awards for meritorious service:

Unit citation for a serious motor vehicle accident with entrapment and critical injuries, in which the injured driver fully recovered.
Greenburgh EMS Paramedic Paul Mullin.  Fairview Firefighters: Captain James Malone, Jr, Firefighters Ray Scaperrotta and PJ Murray.
Elmsford Firefighters: Assistant Chief Dave Signor, Deputy Ch
ief/EMT Syd Henry, EMT Chris Pagliuca, Firefighters Jhon Ganan & Dave Hecht.

Life Saving for a cardiac arrest save, in which the patient fully recovered.
Elmsford Police Officers: Sgt. Charles Bennett and Police Officer Jonathan Castillo,
Greenburgh Police Paramedic Detective Dean Annicchiarico,
Elmsford Firefighters: Deputy Chief Nelson and Lieutenant Jhon Ganan.
